GD2k: An actor bows out

Well I'm making it official. Many of you have known me for the better part of a decade from 'GD Mush' and 'GD2k'. After all this time and the many great RP's we've had I'm calling it quits.

Now before some vultures descend upon this post and add wise @$$ remarks let me clarify exactly why I'm leaving. All of you regulars have probably realized I've been on infrequently over the last two years, with the time between appearances lengthening each time. I've found I've lost interest in all forms of RP. RL (Real Life for those of us who've been at the terminal too long.) has proven to be more interesting to me as of late, and I've had less time to even think of new storylines.

This brings up another point. I've taken my characters as far as I can on my own. I've tried to join in on other rp's, but I'm getting the sense that others have lost interest in creating new ideas or have lost interest in rp and prefer to just chat. For the most part everyone from GD2k has my IM contact info, so I see little need to jump on the mush.

Now I'm not dead, nor dying. You all can still reach me via most all of the accepted IM standards, and a few of the odd ball ones too. ;) I'm always happy to jump on a game of CS, HL, Dawn of War, Star Craft, and soon WOW. Also I'm not deleting my characters. I might peek in from time to time, but for the most part I'm done. I realize there have been a few who make this claim as an attention grabber, but those of you who know me should realize I couldn't give a cr_p about attention. ;D

Finally an appeal. Of the many individuals I've rp'ed with in the past most I am still in contact with, but one in particular who I rp'ed with closely since I moved to Gd2k I've lost all contact with. I'm not sure why we lost all contact, but I've missed this person and wish they could get in contact with me.

I've enjoyed the many years of RP I've had on Gd2k. Many of you have had an affect on my life, and most of you have met me in person at one con or another. Thank you for the good times, the bad, and the just damn confusing (Hey Noa! Love ya!) ;D

I don't believe I have any smart assed remarks, but r/l should always be at least a little more interesting. Keeps us healthier for things to be that way. :)

ugg. damnit, I need to keep in touch with people. I been being lazy on zome RP stuffs, and not includeing all those I could.
Kelly is back on a semi regular basis, and dune is far far away.

Thabs does stuff, but on an off and on again basis depending on his schedule.
I miss riff...

I'll try and make better arrangements if you're still somewhat available.
